As a verified Essential Services Provider, Oil Intel has continued to operate under Alert Level 4 of the COVID-19 outbreak to ensure supply to its Essential Services customers. Strict health & safety processes and protocols are in place to ensure the safety of our people, our customers and the New Zealand public. Just as many of our customers, we are now preparing for Alert Level 3 and would like to inform you of the actions we take in order to continue to safeguard everyone involved in our day-to-day operations:
To avoid the spread of COVID-19, all branches remain closed under Alert Level 3. Most of our team members will continue to work from home (other than core operations teams), our deliveries will remain contactless with strict hygiene and safety practices remain in place as recommended by the Ministry of Health.
We understand that some customers expect our branches to be open and fully operational under Alert Level 3. We have completed a risk assessment and determined that the risk of spread and transmission to our people and customers is too high. We take health, safety and wellness very seriously and trust you support our decision to keep Oil Intel branches closed during Alert Level 3. Customers will only be able to collect stock from outside our sites by prior arrangement.
We request that all orders are phoned ahead by contacting your local rep. Orders will be picked and packed, then left at an arranged location for collection or delivery. All orders must be booked in ahead of time and no customers can turn up on site without prior arrangement.
Our core Operations team will safely manage and deliver stock that continues to arrive across our branches. Under Alert Level 3 our branches will continue to operate with the same core teams that have been in place under Alert Level 4.
For your and our own safety, our Account Managers will not be visiting you in person for the next few weeks – however they are here to help you with products you may need in preparation for Level 3 and beyond.
